This is called the Coefficient of Performance (CoP). By contrast, the CoP of a standard electric device is 1, and the CoP of a gas boiler is less than 1.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAquaSustain uses R290 as a refrigerant, with a low Global Warming Potential (GWP) of 3 and an Ozone Depletion Potential of 0. It can heat water using the heat pump alone to 60°C.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAquaSustain draws air from outside, extracts thermal energy from the air and concentrates it in a higher temperature to heat water for showers and baths etc. Cold air is then discharged outside the property as more warm air is drawn in to continue the process.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe hot water cylinder is fully insulated to retain the heat.\u003cbr\u003eThe product is sized for the property to ensure sufficient supply of hot water for typical use.
